CubeRoot installed our Solar PV in 2011 and it has performed very well for 12 years. We decided in 2022 to install a Tesla battery system to extract the maximum benefit from our solar panels. Tesla batteries were in short supply but CubeRoot kept us informed of progress. They took the opportunity to install some of the cabling in advance whilst we were doing some other work on our driveway. This made the installation much less disruptive when they were finally able to get hold of a Tesla battery system in May 2023. The installation was done with a lot of attention to detail and we are delighted with the final result. Our usage of peak rate power from the grid has dropped dramatically, especially in the evening hours after the sun has set and before the off peak rate starts. The Tesla app makes it easy to see where our power is coming from any time we want to check. Our 3 year fixed tariff rate with Octopus comes to an end this month and I know we will save a lot of money throughout the year because of our Tesla system.
